PerkValet for POS Developers and Partners

PerkValet is a loyalty intelligence platform that extends Clover and Square with multi-promotion loyalty programs, consumer mobile wallets, and merchant analytics.

What PerkValet does

Receives transaction webhooks from Clover and Square
Matches transactions to enrolled consumers via phone number
Accumulates loyalty progress and triggers reward staging
Delivers rewards via Clover discount line items or Square gift cards
Provides a merchant dashboard and consumer mobile wallet

Permissions requested

We request read-only permissions wherever possible. We never request payment processing, refund, or financial management permissions.

Data handling

Transaction data is processed in real time and stored for loyalty tracking only
Consumer phone numbers are stored encrypted and used only for identity matching
We never store payment card data
Merchant data is never shared with other merchants
POS employee data is read-only — we never modify employee records or access payroll, wages, or scheduling data

Security

OAuth 2.0 for all POS authentication
All data encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256)
Hosted on Render (SOC 2 Type II infrastructure)
Role-based access control with encrypted credentials
Access tokens stored with AES-256-GCM encryption, never in plaintext

Read-only by default. PerkValet only writes to POS systems when delivering earned rewards (Clover discount line items or Square gift card loads). All other access is strictly read-only.
